COURSE OVERVIEW:
This course helps the leaders, groups and teams you work with to:
- Understand self and others;
- Understand group dynamics;
- Implement action plans to strengthen themselves, their teams or workgroups;
- Transcend to a level of high performance and effectiveness.
The course will provide you with a solid foundation and toolset in your coaching and or facilitation practice and equip you with the practical skills and expertise to facilitate The "Essentials” needed in the future world of work.
The training modules and related online materials are aimed at building a specific skillsets included in what we refer to as the "Essentials”. These are:
- Heightened awareness of self.
- Heightened awareness of others.
- Understanding team dynamics.
- Conflict handling – how to navigate the difficult conversations.
- Feedback – the art, practice and science behind giving and receiving information about self and others.
- Trust – how to develop the various dimensions of trust in relationships and teams.
- Thinking Partner Skills – helping another person to think through problems and challenges to find viable solutions and develop personally.
- Collaboration – solving problems and challenges as a team or group.
- Resilience – how to build it in individuals and teams.
COURSE DURATION:
2 weeks online. A typical week will entail a commitment of approximately 7 - 10 hours.
COURSE CERTIFICATE:
Once you have successfully completed the course, FIVE LENS People Development will issue you your Team Facilitator Level Certificate.
NEED FOR THE COURSE:

However, practicing effectively as a corporate coach and facilitator requires formal and continuous training. This course offers coaches and facilitators an opportunity to gain a comprehensive skill set, over and above their current skill sets, by mastering the products, processes, and technologies contained within the theoretical and practical application of “The Essentials”.
COURSE ASSESSMENT:
Please Note: this course currently consists of Content and Methodology which is specifically for experienced Facilitators and will enable them to run courses using our material. The course is for running a team process in a classroom context. Material to run the Skills Modules in a virtual/remote context will be added over the next few months.
